Research:Intertextuality

Intertextualiy is when a films use certain  aspect of  one film and interpret into another this can be features such as  camera angles,mise-en-scene sound or even editing .
Interetextuality has been use in many films such as the film as what lies beneath which has aspects borrowed from psycho  by Alfread Hitchcock .The film which has been  categorised as a hitchcockian a term for films which are similar to the films of Alfred Hitchcock .The film what lies beneath has similar aspect as similar main characters a female blonde.Both films have the main events happening in the bath room which have similar mise en scene such as props like shower curtains .Also the sound of water running is an apparent feature in both and sound effects such as string instruments  are used to put an enhasis  on this sound feature .
